It might sound trite, but I find your critters to be my blessings, too. It's nice to know that on a mountain somewhere lives a woman (and man) and a bunch of other spirits who thrive because they are together.
A lifetime history with horses changed the day my husband and I adopted our first mustang. Since then, we have been captivated by the rich community of the herd and our ongoing study of herd communication and interaction is part of a book in progress.
