Winter Wonderland

I finally figured out how to use the video aspect of my little cannon camera and now I'm trying to figure out how to edit clips to a manageable level for loading. So hopefully, videos soon! We had probably a foot of snow last night, thank you Janet, so that's one more foot towards a fire-free spring.

After shoveling some paths for me and getting a good fire going, Mike headed out to meet our neighbor to ski. He took our old chevy because it has really high clearance, great traction and a power winch on the front that has been used many times to pull it out of deep snow. His parting response when I kissed him goodbye and told him to have fun was...'We'll have so much fun it's probably illegal!'

Unfortunately, the blue sky didn't stay around for long. It's back snowing heavily again until around six this evening.
