I decided to give this a try since I've been following the challenges on other folks' blogs.
Sunday Stills is a place to hone your photography skills. Each Week Ed issues a new “Challenge” that gives us the opportunity to pick up what ever kind of camera we own and try and meet it. Sometimes we’ll look forward to it because it might seem fun and easy and sometimes we might have to rack our brain to get the appropriate shot to meet the assignment requirements. The purpose is to get out there and use our cameras.
Please use the title link above if you would like to see how others handled today's challenge of 'textures', and let them know what you think with a comment! Since I've been so obsessed with my garden, I decided to go with a plant theme.
Prickly Pear
Pineapple Sage
Wild Mushroom Cap
Transylvania Sage Leaf
Milkweed
Tomato

They are wonderful photos Carmon.
That Milkweed was so fluffy. I haven't seen one of these before. Looked a bit like a dandelion.
You certainly captured the textures I wanted to touch all those photos.
I love your photos!
My mom lives up beyond Mora, near Coyote Creek. Where are you exactly? email me if you want, maybe we could meet up some day when I go visit her. I go through Mora quite often.
Very nice series. I like the milkweed - it looks SOO soft.
Great pics! I like the mushroom the best.
Wow! Really super nice shots. Welcome to Sunday Stills. :)
Very cool shots, the mushroom and sage are my favorites. I've never heard of Transylvania Sage, I'll have to google it.
